Software Freedom Day 2007: A great success

Software Freedom Day 2007: A great success
Submitted by sverma on Friday, September 14, 2007 - 15:31 Code | Events | SFSU

Software Freedom Day events were a great success and of course, a lot of fun. There's something liberating about heckling passers-by and enticing them with free software.

"Free software, free software! Come and get it. Free software, free software! No strings attached. Nothing to sign. No forms to fill out. Come and get it. Free software, free software!"

We handed out around a hundred CDs of software (Ubuntu and Open CDs) and over 150 flyers with information on free software. Check out the photos.
