y2k7dst: The Daylight Saving Time correction in Linux for 2007
Submitted by sverma on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 - 16:07 Linux

So, does your favorite platform support the two-week shift in DST? Beginning in 2007, most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. That makes it the 11th of March.

So, is your Linux/UNIX system patched? I saw this on Slashdot.

My terminal output is in the brownish-orange window (Ubuntu Edgy Eft). Looks like I'm set!
